VLH at Myerscough College Country Fair

Word from impartial obervers (college staff) reaches us that the Vale of Lune Hounds were well received at Myerscough College Open Day and Country Fair on Sunday 3 June.

Impartial word is that the Hunt went down famously, and the two demonstrations in the International Arena were in front of some of the biggest crowds Myerscough has ever seen. Such is the measure of our popularity that we’ve been invited back next year.

Our thanks go to Mr Clive Richardson (Master and Hunstman) mounted on Oliver, Mr Paul Conway (Whipper-In) on Rolo, both in the ring, and Mr Andy Bryan (Kennelman) behind the scenes, and of course to the 10 ½ couple Hounds for representing the Hunt so well.

Draghunting and trail hunting are high risk sports. From time to time it is inevitable that accidents will happen, whether or not it is the fault of the rider or any of those otherwise concerned. For this reason we make it a condition that anyone coming out with us must have read carefully, and observe, the safety requirements in the disclaimer.
