Opening Meet
Once again the opening meet went from the Redwell Inn. The weather didn’t put anyone off - and those who came back at second horses found themselves rinsed clean as we returned to the pub. In some cases this was very necessary as the first few jumps caught out several of the field, who fortunately had very soft landings.
Once again our webmaster was out with his camera and managed to capture a few pictures. As he was concentrating on his riding not his pictures you may like to take a look at Nick Gill Photography who has captured some of our fences.
Thank You…
In no particular order The Hunt would like to thank…
- The farmers, who let us hunt their land.
- Trainee soldier Jack Topping, our quarry for the day. Jack is training to join the Paras, and we all wish him the best of luck.
- Mr & Mrs Alex Pimbley for hosting the Opening Meet party.

As you are all no doubt aware we have had a very poor summer so Clive does not want to damage the ground so early in the season, or have anyones horse injured by straining itself in heavy going.
