KENNELS OPEN EVENING - 8 JUNE
There will be an open evening at the Kennels, Deer Park Lane, Hornby on Friday 8th June.
This is an excellent opportunity to see the hounds.
VALE OF LUNE HUNT GYMKHANA - 29 JULY
The gymkhana will be held at Fleet Farm on 29 July 2007 by kind permission of Mr Len Metcalfe.
Any volunteers on Saturday 28th to help set up will be much appreciated.
Schedules will be available on the day and at WCF Claughton, and we'll have them here on the website too.
Last year was fantastic, with great weather and a great atmosphere. Both kids and adults alike had a really good day. We look forward to seeing you.
HUNTER TRIALS - 16 SEPTEMBER
Once again the Hunter Trials will be held at Clawthorpe, Burton-in-Kendal, by kind permission of the Boddy Family and Mr & Mrs Metcalfe.
Help is always needed creosoting the fences and building the mini-course prior to the event, and as always on the day itself wee will need fence judges, please do volunteer.
We cannot run this event without your very generous sponsorship. Any amount from £25 to £250 to sponsor a fence would be most welcome. This is to cover the costs of very necessary but very expensive insurance and first-aid. All sponsors may advertise on the course and will be entered into the programme
As above the schedules will be available at WCF Claughton, and here on the website.
BARN DANCE - 26 AUGUST
There will be a Barn Dance at Valiants Equestrian Centre. We will have more details as we get nearer the time.
You are welcome to park a caravan or horsebox at the venue to sleep in so that you can dance until the wee-small hours without worrying about finding a taxi home
