Gentleman’s School Dinner

Friday 23rd November 2007

CLANG-PIP. CLANG-Pip.

The craked tones of the old skool bell summon various oiks, cads, swots, cissies, wets, wedes and bounders to assembl at the Longlands Hotel, Tewitfield for the Hunt Cultur and Temperance Soceity skool dinner.

Here at skool we are proud of our maners and once assembled for dinner whole skool erupt like an H bomb in an explosion of pea shooters and water pistols. We are much shoked i do not think.

Acktually once the master have said grace all boys descend on the skool sossages with mighty roar and within minits all is swept bare. Do not bolt yore food boys! All the older boys drink BEER which make them all very sprightly and matron must confiscate their bungees, pea shooters, catapults and water pistols yar boo sucks.

When the repast is finished the headmaster bawl Silence at the top of his voice and the whole skool fall silent. He holds up his glass and sa in a low voice

The QUEEN. Cheers cheers cheers for the queen we all drink and hurra for england. Naughty boys now sneke out past matron for a smoke. It will stunt their growth do they not kno?

It is time for the auction. Boys root thruough pockets amongst fluff, cigs, hankies and wine gums for any loose change wot have not already been spent on BEER. Headmaster call whitfield 1 to the front who do the honors and condukt affairs. Their are minor scuffles over some of the lots which push the price up nicely. It is amazing wot wine gums will buy these days.

Once the auction is over the whole sordid affair end up in a fug of even more BEER and drunken singing. Wot the boys will feel like in the morning is more than i can imagine.

But Seriously

The dinner was a roaring success and very entertaining.
