Glorious weather on Wednesday for the Lawn Meet. Anothre new photographer in attendance and we have Mrs Pamela Harris to thank for these photos.
Looks like it was a hard charging day at The Brige Inn on Saturday, and our webmaster can attest that these hedges do look as fearsome from on horseback as they do in these photos. He daren’t show this unashamedly hedge-hopping gallery by Libby Mayor to his horse*, because he knows that she will be as gutted as he was to miss a grand day out.
* thanks for all those who’ve asked about her since she went out of action with a thoroughpin, she’ll be back next season. Just don’t mention it at the Hunt Ball if you don’t want to be accosted for a good ten minutes and yours ears left unmolested.
By kind invitation of Mr & Mrs T Bowring.
Both Michael Markey and John Vine were packing cameras at the meet and have provided photos for the gallery.
We have kindly been sent photos from Barkin House in December by Paul Owen.
Michael Markey has posted a few photos from this meet in the Vale of Lune Harriers flickr group.
Draghunting and trail hunting are high risk sports. From time to time it is inevitable that accidents will happen, whether or not it is the fault of the rider or any of those otherwise concerned. For this reason we make it a condition that anyone coming out with us must have read carefully, and observe, the safety requirements in the disclaimer.
