Due to snow and ice it is not fit to take horses out tomorrow. The hounds and hunt staff will parade at 11.30am to 12 o’clock, then the hounds will be walked around the canal towpath and village.

Please try to come on foot, and if you have your own “hound” then it is especially invited and we’ll try and put together the largest pack in the UK, or even the world!

The very name “Boxing Day” itself derives from the tradition of giving gifts in a Christmas Box, and Hunts are one of the few organisations that maintain this link to the past, tipping the Huntsman at this time of year. What better way to show your appreciation to the Hunt servants at Christmas!
